Proud to have roots in West Texas!
In 1986 Jim and Carol Pritchard ventured out with a vision of a lab to provide accurate analysis quickly and affordable and most importantly, local to west Texas.
For thirty years they ran Caprock Laboratories, Inc. in Midland, Texas and developed it into a successful lab employing a great staff and providing analysis to customers who felt more like friends.
In late 2016 James R. Pritchard (Jim and Carol's son) endeavored to open his own lab to bring back the good old-fashioned customer service our clients had known and appreciated. After a period of litigation and the expiration of a temporary injunction, Pritchard Analytical Laboratories Inc. re-opened in May 2019.
Pritchard Analytical strives to bring back the same old-fashioned excellent customer service formerly provided by Caprock Lab. Pritchard Analytical Lab is happy to provide the same analysis many are familiar with at a price that is reasonable and fair without having to ship samples off to a parent lab, thus saving valuable time for the customer.
In many cases same day results are available. Our samples are analyzed in house and many times reported within 24 hours*. Our goal is to provide accurate analysis within a timely manner.
*Some samples/tests require more time either for the procedure or due to quantity
Human Error
Here at Pritchard Analytical Lab we strive for excellence in our analysis. However, sometimes accidents happen. Oil can be spilled, a valve might leak so it is important to make sure samples are collected correctly and accurately to help prevent this type of human error from happening. None of us are perfect, but we are making the effort wherever possible to reduce human error in any way possible. Sometimes samples may need to be caught in duplicate and/or larger quantities just in case of such an accident. If we do our part and you do yours, we can, together, help reduce the possibility of human error.
